Most non-profits do not have the budget to have a full time staff member dedicated to Cyber Security. The vCISO provides cyber security consulting, strategic leadership and security strategy for your organization so you can focus on your mission.
Not all nonprofits or organizations are the same. We will work with you and your team to build out your cyber security program and empower you to strengthen your cyber security footprint.

“As President and CEO of Academy for Grassroots Organizations part of my job is to bring resources to our members. Our motto is Stronger Nonprofits/Stronger Communities. We recently hosted Pocket Security to share their thoughts on how small and large nonprofits must prepare themselves to protect their donor and client data. They also shared the need to focus on remote work policies as more and more of us are working online.
Both Julie and Leda were a major hit with our members. Their ability to share complex information with non-technical folks is amazing. Several members have already requested more training.
I highly recommend Pocket Security to any organization starting to tackle Cyber Security in the workplace.”

“I am so appreciative of the workshops Pocket Security, Inc. presented for our nonprofit alliance! Keaton and Ashley not only provided an informative overview of cybersecurity but also shared tangible actions for organizations to improve their security. Their insights and tools were also tailored to our nonprofit audience! It was a joy working with them to bring this invaluable content to our nonprofit community and I look forward to collaborating with Julie and Leda again in the future!”

" Pocket Security provides a unique service to nonprofit organizations ensuring them against cyber threats. I was fortunate to be able to provide a webinar with them recently. Their team is keenly aware of the dynamics of nonprofits as many have worked in the field. I would strongly endorse them as a valued service for our nonprofit clients to help protect them against the ever imposing risk from cyber criminals"

“Pocket Security, Inc. was in my hip pocket, when I needed them most. Leda was patient and walked us through the steps to help us better protect our organization. Our specialty is sports, not data care. The Pocket Security team was great and guided us through the process like a great coach would do with their team. Before working with Pocket Security, I felt our organization was vulnerable and uneducated on the importance of data care, but after working with Leda and the Pocket Security team, I now feel confident and informed. I feel a great deal of comfort that Leda’s phone number is right there in my hip pocket.”

We heard about Pocket Security from a workshop hosted by Cal Non-Profit Cybersecurity 101 workshop. Leda Muller led the workshop. She was thorough and very knowledgeable about how to prevent cybersecurity incidents and provided examples of recent incidents that happened. After the workshop we realized that we have not done a risk assessment of our organization and thought Leda and her team would be a great company to work with. Pocket Security provided a Risk Assessment questionnaire that allowed us to look more critically at our processes and it exposed areas that we need to improve our process. also ran a vulnerability scan on our website and went over the results and reviewed our internal IT Security Plan. Lastly, she did a training with our staff that went over common ways that cybersecurity incidents happen and how to prevent them. Overall, I enjoyed working with Leda. It is clear she deeply cares about cybersecurity and non-profits. She has a wealth of knowledge and showed that she could meet our non-profit at a place we were at and advised accordingly. Leda was willing and available to answer any questions we had and provided more information when requested. I would highly recommend working with Leda and her team.
